We are constantly working to advocate for our disabled communities. Not only do we assist individuals and families, but we also work with government agencies to effect change and increase efforts to upgrade to ADA compliance throughout Trinidad, Colorado. Our hope is to create a kinder, gentler and more accepting community for our disabled residents to enjoy.

Advocacy
This is a service provided to individuals and their families. ABC Disability assists in navigating the Individualized Education Program process.
Waiver and other assistance
ABC Disability Support Group can also write letters to assist families in obtaining therapy animals. We can also offer supports in navigating the different waivers in place within the health system.
Trainings
Several times a year ABC Disability Support Group partners with other agencies to offer trainings to the community related to special education and disabilities.
Social emotional events
By incorporating activities that promote empathy, communication, and emotional resilience, social-emotional events help individuals with disabilities build strong relationships and navigate social situations with confidence.
